Mamelodi Sundowns parts ways with Emiliano Tade

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Argentine forward, Emiliano Tade approached the Club to be released from his contract and the club has conceded after the player cited personal reasons.

Tade joined Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this year in January 2019 and was unfortunate to sustain an injury shortly after he joined Sundowns which hampered his progress to cement a place in the squad. He featured in a handful of games for the ABSA Premiership Champions but unfortunately, the player sustained a few other niggling injuries which have kept him off the field.

The President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, the Board, Management, staff, coaches and players wish to thank Emiliano Tade for his contribution and wish him all of the best in his personal and professional endeavours.

This is really disturbing, even though I wasn’t his big fan. The team just threw away R8million just like that. It’s very clear that we signed him only because he was doing well for AmaZulu. I’m just wondering if the coach recommended the player or if he was signed by management

Such an amazing player, it’s a pity we lost him. While we were expecting more from him. Through unfortunate events, I wish him well soon/a speedy recovery. Continue doing what he loves doing best scoring goals!!!

Hes special. South American players have this well trained football brain. He has it too. Hope he continnues playing. but not for chiefs lol They already have our best players. Thanks to Pitso

  4. Sundowns still going to loose players as long as pitso is in charge. Almost half of the team is not happy, same selection of players week in week out, some players are only getting chance when pitso’s favorites are injured or suspended.

@ Sello read before you write any comment, All players that raised their hands are playing. you are out of order.there is no complains most of our players are playing. go to your team the Zebras and check how many players are not playing bo Molangwane and etc, The team is doing well and you bring THAT boring topic here. we are coming for that league tittle tell them at the zoo. and Pitso will be here until he retires and that is 10 years to come.h

Congrats Masandawana 4 clinching 3 points that’s what has been needed &again lets welcome the availability of Sirino bcoz we need him dearly.Sometimes we need to grind results&the situation was that considering that we r coming from the last part of the continent and put into perspective the overall changes in the whole set-up. Lets meet the stubborn Maritzburg in Durban now&we realise that we always lose in cup games against this hoodoo team.Lets the soccer gods r on our side if u consider that we lost 2 Ajax and Celtic in Durban though we won against Chiefs in the same competition.Let us not have the Kaizer Chiefs mentality of winning the game before even is played. If we not concede an early goal we can keep the momentum going and hit Maritzburg where it hurts most in the cup final as this team has been toying with our emotions 4 a very long-time.Lets paint Mabhida yellow on Saturday afternoon.

Very sad news to us Masandawana family, is he going to persue other carriers in football or will still continue as a player. Can we be told why players have to sit on bench for a season long because if they are of no use, let them be on market. Like Mohomi, laffor, etc

  8. I’m still learning from you, while I’m trying to reach my goals.

I really don’t understand what is happening in our team of choice, how do we bring a good player like this one while he was on form in his team, suddenly we just let him go like this this, this is not good for our South African football. We are destroying our player who makes a leaving by playing soccer.

A person is allowed to make and take a decision about his life. Other countries people may not wait to retire at 35 – 40 years, remember each person has different life goals. It is no different with TADE, it does not matter how much we loved him, how much football was left in him, the potential we were all vying to see. He has decided. Injuries were a real setback in his career at Sundowns, He then felt it might continue . Its a good and bold decision that can raise unnecessary speculations as if people never knew of the injury list and update at Sundowns.People love talks without facts. In life some people have different plans. They will follow such. When plan A seem to be taking too long or too risky they opt for plan B and life goes on. Uninformed persons will try to sniff and draw far fetched speculations and allow them to trend but why not wait for the truth. It only become a blessing in disguise for such a brave move, it opens doors for others.KBY
