We know that it’s going to be a very difficult game away from home and we will give it our best since the team is ready and fresh for the game. We are expecting a good encounter.”
Before attending to their duty in continental football, the Brazilians want to tackle the assignment of returning from Esgodini with maximum points. Onyango mentioned that the team will be keen to keep the momentum for this game and going forward because of the number of important matches lined up this month.
“When we play all games, we want to dominate the entire game [first and second half], and we have been trying hard especially with the high-intensity games to keep the ball on our side. The boys are looking sharp and it’s important for us to go into a match with a positive mindset. Whenever we play Pirates in Orlando, it’s always interesting and they obviously have an advantage because they’re playing at home, but we always have our supporters behind us”, said the Brazilians Goalkeeper.

He said, “At Sundowns, you always need to be on your toes. We have a squad full of quality players and when one is presented with the opportunity to play, they need to be ready.”
