Kadija Makhanya Crowned Miss Mamelodi Sundowns 2020

Last night, Kadija Makhanya was crowned Miss Mamelodi Sundowns 2020 in front of the fully packed Gallagher Convention Centre in a star-studded affair.

The Kwa-Zulu Natal native beat out stiff competition from 17 other contestants to take home the crown.

In its 9th year, the event has become a real red carpet affair that saw performances from AKA, Kwesta and DJ Maphorisa – not to mention a star-studded judging panel which included Bonang Matheba, Riky Rick and Stephanie Weil.

Those lucky enough to have tickets got to rub shoulder with the Brazilian superstars as the majority of the Sundowns first team was in attendance.

The newly crowned queen drove home in her new Hyundai i20 along with a cheque for R250 000 and is excited to cheer on the team:

“I am looking forward to cheering on the team with the Brazilian faithful in the coming weeks”

The First Princess was awarded a cheque of R175 000 and the Second Princess walked away with R150 000.

Boh mfowethu I fully agree with you and other Downs fans who says our coach is the one who makes us to lose,Sundowns must give him an ultimatum or read him a riot act to pull up his socks.
Our coach is on comfort zone and I bet he will not survived to other teams with that attitude and sometimes I fully blame our Management of how are they saying when they keep on paying players whom they always on the grandstand only coming to the field after the match to sing “Matorokisi” (sorry if I pronounced it wrong).
George Maluleke of Chiefs is refusing to extend his contract and don’t be surprised if We landed him in August because our coach is a big admire of him,an old player.Another problem I have is for those fellow fans who always attending our AGM my question is what is the Agenda, are they complaining about all the things that are happening to our team on our behalf or they are there just to enjoy free meal and booze, serious things must be change in terms of running our team after all this AGM’s.
Lastly I repeat when our President took over he said “I want to conquer Africa”he looked beyond South Africa but you can’t conquer Africa with favoritism and playing with players of Maboe and Arendse calibre etc. Those who will respond by questioning me of my loyalty or insult me angisenandaba,Downs should compete in Champs League not to add numbers and keep on saying North Africans have a big budget its not like that but a simple plan B practice when things are not going on our way, this thing of slow build ups or carpet football are gone let’s play soccer not to entertain the paying customers like Alex Shakoane used to say.Kby forever

Muzi member..it will be very disrespectful of me to totally say PISTO is responsible or not responsible for our losses…He has done enough to demand full control to sign players…just as he is responsible for the starting 11… substitute, formation….and overall planning.. just as He takes credit when the plan went well..He must take the blame for losses.. anyway I’ll be des appointed with Coach PISTO for signing Maluleka,if that is true.. WHY we have Mkhulise/Sugar/Seabi/Rival do/Mngoma/Mahomi/Mokhumi…. not even played, I’m really confused are we going to sell this players.. WHO IS MAKING THIS CALL.. TODAY COACH CAME OUT AND SAID HE COMMENDED THIS PLAYERS HIMSELF..I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE..We should have learned from Manyisa buying this finished players to Sundowns is killing us,or this is a ? making scheme.. What is going on…
