Mothobi Mvala is one of the recruits that have penned down contracts with Mamelodi Sundowns to strengthen the squad and fight for more trophies in the 2020/21 season. The Theunissen born joined Masandawana from Highlands Park together with Peter Shalulile. He signed a five-year contract with the Brazilians.

The 26-year old had a great 2019/20 season with Park and he shared that “I know that for me to play I must work hard and follow the instructions given to me by the technical team. I want to contribute to the team’s success and the only way to do that is to push myself. I want to win trophies with the team as that is the culture of the team and everyone can see that every season the clubs always win a trophy”.
Mvala is yet to make an official appearance for Masandawana but has been on the bench in two matches, the win against Kaizer chiefs as well as the clash against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
The midfielder was part of the national under 23 that took part in the Rio Olympics and has graduated to the senior national team.
That is the only favour that he can do himself. He must forget at feeling like he has arrived. He must really push himself hard, he must expect a really stiff competition,Hard work can earn you a position at Sundowns.
