Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies welcome Tsunami Queens at the Groenkloof stadium this afternoon in search of their 16th win this season in the Hollywoodbets Super League.

The Brazilians will be looking to solidify their dominant position in the top flight of the South African Women’s league. Downs’ head coach Jerry Tshabalala is not undermining today’s encounter, who sit at the opposite end of the table: He said, “We are embracing ourselves for another great encounter against Tsunami Queens, as much as they are a team sitting at the bottom of the log, we will be going out there to see to it that we emulate to get three points, we’ve got to respect our opponents.”

Queens are at the bottom of the log in the Women’s league, with 20 games played for them this season, the Free State team will be looking to catch up to Masanswana, who are 38 points ahead of them.

“Last week they got a point away, it will not be an easy game for us, we need to go there and do what we normally do, which is to play well and to apply ourselves better. I believe it’s one of those weeks where one or two of our youngsters will be getting a run just to give them some game time. It’s gonna be a tough game but we are looking forward to it.” Said the Ladies coach, Jerry Tshabalala.
