Sundowns extends Onyango’s contract

Mamelodi Sundowns and Denis Onyango agreed on a contract extension of four and a half years. The Ugandan goalkeeper is currently the best goalkeeper in Africa having been named in the Confederation of African Football’s Best XI.

Onyango was the only African based player in the star-studded XI.
This contract extension means that Onyango will spend more than a decade at Sundowns. Onyango joined the Brazilians in 2011.

During that time he worked his way up to become the club’s undisputed No. 1, winning three league titles and the CAF Champions League title in 2016 as well as the CAF Super Cup the following year.

That is good news,we appreciate his commitments to our club and he should work harder than before Well done Onyango Thank you Thank you Thank you

Congratulations! This takes him to his retirement package ,he has achieved with Sundowns , he has contributed a lot, these veterans must get the contracts, there is a lot that awaits them in the developmental levels within Sundowns structures.

But really, who’s making decisions @ Sundowns? Like 4 years for a 33 year old? The team was supposed to be grooming a younger South African keeper to take over. This just confirms the long-held public view that Sundowns is a retirement village. This would be 4 years of own goals

Congratulations!!! Masandawana!!!…Now allow me guys to say…Jali,Jali!!Snothie!!..when players are given a chance they must show how hungry, and talented, while following instructions…Thanks u coach Pisto and ur team….still not happy with the way we conceded 2 goals..we need to finish the team’s…blv my broe Dalom is a happy broe I still maintain we don’t criticize,to destroy our team, but we know.this is what our team is capable..on any sundowns..

This is fat 3 points, had we been more clinical we could have won by bigger margin.Good game plan and inspired substitution, not bcoz we won but they way we played. The work rate of Maboe is some thing else.Mahlambi’s hunger will take us places.Lebusa and Cotzee complemented each other very well,I think the team that finished this game should start our nice game, with Laffor included.I loved the coach’ Pre-match comment,”if we don’t trust them,Why did we bring them here?.That should be the spirit coach. I pray that Jali be always fit for the remainder of the season, coz he controls ball well and has an accurate passing game.Goodluck for our next game,if we can improve our finishing we could wrap the league soon.

Congratulations to the team, technical team and the Yellow Nation at large, long walk to the top, we can celebrate for this to boost our inner energies, we are slowly getting there, the final third begins on Saturday with Bloemfontein, acceleration must begin.

Good win by the boys. Maboe how much ground does that boy covers? the work rate is out of this world.
thanks to the technical team for good team selection. good performance by the boys. we created lots chances by scoring is a problem neh!! when we play our normal football and not worried about what the opponents does we are unstoppable.

Great performance by Jali,we didn’t give away possession cheaply since Mabunda was on da bench,I hope he stays there longer,bt one thing still worries me, Why is Mweene so lazy to dive?in Most of the goals he concedes,he jst stands still n watches da ball goes into da net

I do agree with U member, Mabunda gives away possession easily he must stays on the bench longer and Jali keeps on playing like that. For Kennedy Mweene I am very glad for his selection yesterday and plays very well, please Coach Onyango must stays on the bench for the rest of the Season. Shapa Sandawana Shapaaaaaa.

I beg to differ , Mabunda’s assignment on the day would be done thoroughly, that one does all the dirty work in the middle, he wins the ball and plays it back to start the moves, may be you miss his thunder bolts crackers, just advise that he begin to shoot at goal also or play offensive role. l suppose he will be given that role to give Kekana another role, modern soccer is tricky, you may never know the tactic used on the day, each player comes with a role to do on the day, very few players fit well in every game. That is why a team analysis is done to know which player is needed for what on the day, mistakes will always happen but they do not make the concerned players bad players.

@Bango he gives away possession very cheaply,I HV been analysing him since last season, doing dirty work does not mean he should give away possession after winning da ball

  14. There are actually a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That could be a nice point to carry up. I offer the ideas above as general inspiration however clearly there are questions just like the one you carry up the place a very powerful thing will probably be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged round issues like that, however I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a good game.
