Thabiso Kutumela Joins Mamelodi Sundowns On 5-Year Deal

With preparations for the new season in full swing, Mamelodi Sundowns are delighted to announce the latest addition to the squad.

Limpopo-born forward and Bafana Bafana international, Thabiso Kutumela has reached an agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns and signed a 5-year contract with the reigning DStv Premiership Champions.

The 28-year-old striker joins The Yellow Nation after scoring 12 goals in 26 league starts with Maritzburg United FC this past season.

Kutumela’s high work rate, assists and goals culminated in him earning his Bafana Bafana call up for the AFCON qualifiers.

Good acquisition in Thabiso but I think we should loan players like Keletso and Mkhuma for them to get game time else where! Thabiso is the time of a player that can make have a good fight in the CCL

Thanks for the signing but they’re two players that are missing now and those players are Ramiro Vaca Ponce and Sipho Mbule and one of them must wear jersey number 10 of Sirino, pls release him Vaca is twice good as him and the age is on his side really that boy is a magic and it will be difficult to have him because other big teams from Europe also wants him lastly thanks for not signing Sibisi from Arrows and Mahachi they’re not Downs material, Kby forever.

Welcome Thabiso… I have no problem with Kutumela… So don’t judge me. But I see much difference between Makgalwa and Kutumela… I thought Makgalwa has even matured… But I never doubt my technical team… This is just my opinion

Good signing indeed but what is happening with SIRINO please cash on him and release him to follow his dream because you can’t keep an unhappy player

Team needs to be refreshed every season in order to be competitive and also to compete in the continent

I also think that Kutumela is an ok player, nothing more than what we have, but maybe the technical team knows more than we do, we’ll wait and see, but am not excited about this signing

My only request from this team of ours is to release players that we don’t need on time.

I don’t know what Magwala has to do for him to play.

I would have prefered the signing of the young lad Hlongwane but curcumstances leading to this guys aquisition are only known to the people involved in that transaction . I hope he feeds me a humble pie like Shalulile did .
