Bafana Ba Style Aiming to Continue Red-Hot Form against Golden Arrows

Mamelodi Sundowns are making their final preparations for Sunday night’s game when they play host to KwaZulu-Natal-based side, Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. While the two sides have met already this season in a 5-0 fixture which was in favour of Downs, they will be meeting for the first time in the league this season.

The Brazilians’ last fixture was last weekend in the Nedbank Cup where they won 5-2 against Sibanye Golden Stars. Abafana Bes’thende also last played at the weekend where they lost to get knocked out of the cup competition. With the two sides having had a week to prepare, the fixture promises an exciting 90 minutes.

Masandawana are currently 1st on the Betway Premiership tally and will want to extend their lead in their backyard. They will also want to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games in a row.

The Downs squad could be consolidated with the return of a few players who are coming from an injury layoff. They will also be without Bathusi Aubaas and Divine Lunga who are currently serving their respective suspensions. Despite having a few players absent from the squad, the objective for Masandawana remains the same, to emerge victorious against their opponent.

Mamelodi Sundowns will meet Lamontville Golden Arrows on Sunday evening at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. Kick-off has been scheduled for 17H45, live on SuperSport TV.
