As you know we did not have any training for almost seven months but at the end of the day it paid off”.
The 19 year- old made her senior national team debut in the tournament.
“As a youngster in the team it was a privilege to be sharing the dressing room with my role models and I was over the moon to be amongst the rest of the guys. Making my debut was something else, I got an assist and I almost even scored”, said Mokwena.
