Diski Team Ready to Take on Richards Bay in Reverse Fixture

Mamelodi Sundowns’s Diski Team will look to get the rub of the green when they host the Richards Bay Reserves on Saturday morning at the Tuks Stadium.

The young Brazilians dropped points in the previous weekend after losing 4-3 against the Cape Town City Reserves away from home. Despite having a promising second half, where they could have either shared spoils or won the game over the side from the Winelands, they were unable to get the desired results.

Looking ahead to this weekend, coach David Notoane’s charges will be looking to turn things around when they face Richards Bay. With both sides coming from dropping points at the weekend, watchers of the reserve league are up for an exciting match the two sides will be looking to turn the tables and get the desired results.

The two sides’ last Met in the 2024/25 season opener where the rampant Sundowns side went on to win the game 3-0 in KwaZulu-Natal. Onele Rulwana, OarabileBooysen, and Thulani Zandamela were the players who won the game for Bafana Ba Style. In the reverse fixture, Masandawana will look to get the maximum points, not only to hit a double against their Richards Bay counterparts but to also keep themselves on the run for the title.

The Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Team will face off against the Richards Bay Reserves on Saturday morning. Kick-off has been scheduled for 10H00.
