Mamelodi Sundown’s Diski Team is traveling to Limpopo this weekend to face the Mages FC Reserves on Sunday afternoon at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane.
While they are still in the title race, Masandawana dropped points the previous weekend when they hosted Richards Bay in a goalless draw. While they have collected 39 points so far this season, just five points behind the log leaders, Masandawana will look to enjoy the rub of the green and return to winning ways.
Their Magesi counterparts, on the other hand, last played an official game in mid-February where they lost 3-1 on their turf. They also last won a match early in January, which has seen them sit 12th on the DStv Diski Challenge log.
The last time the two sides met, the young Brazilians played hosts at the Giant Stadium but were handed their first loss in a 2-1 fest back in September. With Dikwena Meetse having registered a string of defeats, Masandawana have the opportunity to not only settle a score but to also ensure that they return to winning ways by collecting maximum points. It will be another difficult encounter for them but with the hard work put during preparations, Bafana Ba Style can emerge victorious.
