Focus changes to Usuthu for the Brazilians

The focus shifts to the DSTV Premiership this week after an intense international week. Mamelodi Sundowns have played three games this season and have not registered a loss and without conceding a goal. The Brazilians have also scored five goals and the last time Bafana Ba Style conceded was in the clash against Baroka last season.

The next game is a game against AmaZulu on Sunday at home at 15:30. Usuthu is currently occupying position four with four points after three games and clashes between the two sides always produce great entertainment and many goals. In the 2019/20 season, Masandawana scored three goals at Moses Mabhida with the goals coming from Sibusiso Vilakazi and a brace from Themba Zwane.

The biggest result recorded in the six years was a five-nil victory recorded by Masandawana in the Telkom Knockout. This was in the last 16 of the competition. Gaston Sirino was the man on a high on that night as he scored a brace.

In the last six meetings, eighteen goals have been scored between the two sides and the clash on Sunday promises to be a humdinger. The game on Sunday is sure to dish out some exciting football for the masses that will be watching from home as no spectator is allowed to go and attend games at the stadium.
