“I wanna get some silverware”- Goss

Ricardo Goss has been with Mamelodi Sundowns since the start of the new season after coming from Bidvest Wits. The Bafana Bafana international signed a five-year deal and brings a wealth of experience to the Masandawana goalkeeping department.

” It has been nice, I am enjoying every moment with the club and we have a great bunch of guys who are fun to work with. I felt welcomed when I joined the club and it is still the same way and working hard”.

Goss joins the goalkeeping department that consists of international keepers like Dennis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene, and also newly signed Jody February. The 26-year old spoke about being in the same space with quality international keepers and said that “Dennis and Kennedy have been cracking jokes all the time with us the new guys and have made us feel at home. I want to work hard and learn more from them”.

Ricardo has not made an official start for the Brazilians but has made the bench and will be looking forward to making his debut.

“I wanna get some silverware and being here at the club gives me an opportunity as I have not won any trophies and hopefully that will change”.

Keep yourself feet, be ready , when your time comes you must showcase your agenda. First impression has no substitution .Sundowns is a big team, you must be ready for sure to accept it yourself. You can be a star or a big person from another team and you get to Sundowns and become not visible, the team has a structure and you can only fit in , its a matter of commitment and hard work as a person, forget about the Media reports. Focus and learn from these guys who have achieved things, you can only add value. Your turn will come, there are many games to come,Sundowns has always the longest footballing calendar in the Psl, and each committed player will get his turn.
